The History
The first Bike Jamboree began in 2015 and ended into 2017. The Jamboree is organized by the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association. The Jamboree follows the same route every year, it starts in Poland and ends wherever the World Jamboree is being held. This year the World Jamboree is in West Virginia. The Bike Jamboree was created in order to showcase Scouting as a unique movement that involves those of different cultures, beliefs, and nationalities. The main goal is to show how Scouting is a powerful tool that unites those from all different types of backgrounds.
Invitation to Join and or Help
As the Scouts ride through Utah, there are several things you can do to support their journey across the globe. The Scouts are very interested in learning about our culture, our values, and sharing theirs with others. They can do this by meeting other Scouts in our council.
Ride Along With The Scouts
The Scouts don’t want to ride through Utah alone. We encourage Scout troops or groups to get together and ride with the Scouts. They can organize their route to coordinate with the International Scouts and join in! This will allow International Scouts to intermingle with Utah Scouts and learn more about each other.

The route of the relay through Utah goes North from St. George through Salt Lake City. Follow the route and ride with the Scouts for several miles.
Accommodations
As the Scouts ride miles on end each day, they will need places to rest every night. The Scouts will be seeking out affordable accommodations in the Utah area. Our camps are a very affordable option for those passing through Utah, here are some of our recommendations.
- Maple Dell Camp Cabin nestled in the Uintah National Forest
- Zion Base Camp

I have a recommendation for camping in Lehi, Utah. There is a campground choose to Interstate 15 called Willow Park. At Willow Park there is a 30 mile bike trail that goes North towards Salt Lake City called Jordan River Trail. We could help with arrangements to camp there and help with meals possibly.
