First of all, the Scout Show is FUN! Scouts can earn their way to camp by selling tickets, winning prizes and attending the show with their family, friends and fellow scouts. Everyone who visits can play games, get treats and see what amazing things Scouting can do. Scouts, community members and businesses can host booths to show off, sell and share Bring your family, a group of Scouts, or a group of friends for a fun-packed day.
In past years, Scout Show attendees were able to participate in activities as if they were at camp themselves. Rock climbing, knot tying, soap carving, archery, and photography were available to everyone who wanted to try. You could even build your own foam sword and duel with your friends. Pinewood Derby fans surrounded a giant derby track as kids raced their cars all day long. Elsa even made an appearance to decorate the faces of eager children. Kids loved the STEM Scout table full of 3D printers. Watching the printers at work invigorated young boys and girls to learn more about STEM Scouting.
This year will be no different when it comes to featuring activities everyone can enjoy. Here are some of the many vendors, booths and activities that will be featured at this year’s Scout Show:
- Fezzari Bikes
- Jousting Games
- Bear Claw Badges
- Minute-to-Win-It Games
