Boys that love Scouting, love their uniforms. Fifteen deserving Scouts need you to help them get into uniform through Ethan’s Giving Trees in the Utah National Parks Council. Similar to an Angel Tree, each of our National Scout Shops have set up a tree with Ethan request cards from Scouts who need your help.
The cards are in and waiting for your generosity. Each card has the first name of a Scout along with basic Scout items that they need but may not be able to afford. Scouts, Scouters, and Scouting Supporters can purchase the items at their local Scout Shop, and store staff will make sure they get to the right Scout.
Please stop by either of the stores for to pick out your gift. You can also drop us an e-mail at Oremscoutshop@scouting.org or phone us at 801-221-1008 to let us know how you would like to help out.
All names and personal information are confidential and though we will take submissions until the last day, December 19th, there are cards on the tree now waiting just for you.

One of the highlights of my day is when I see a Cub Scout come in to purchase his first uniform. The excitement is contagious as they walk out of the store wearing the new outfit, often with the tags still on.
To share the joy with a boy in need, I took the opportunity to visit the Scout Shop this morning to participate in the Ethan Tree project.
I selected a Cub Scout with the rank of Wolf. I purchased a few items for him and was pleased to find out that my employee discount applied to the purchase of the items.
Please help us bring a smile to the faces of boys in need of a scout uniform.
I am accepting contributions on behalf of the Ethan Tree and will use my employee discount to purchase the items for boys in need making your donations go further.

Last night, the Provo Peak District leadership team “passed the hat” and collected enough funds to purchase eight uniform shirts for youth in need. What district leadership team will join us…???
Last night I put in my $20 to buy a with a neckerchief, slide and hat for a deserving Webelos on our #EthanGivingTree. I was short $3.83. Thanks to Susan in the shop, she stepped up to finish my purchase since I was a bit short.
