Outstanding Eagle: Chip A. Childs

(Russell) Chip A. Childs

When Chip left Cedar City to attend college at Brigham Young University and work in Salt Lake City, he never imagined he would return home to southwest Utah. However, in 2001 he was offered the position of vice president-controller at SkyWest Airlines and settled in St. George with his wife and four children. He is now the president and CEO at SkyWest, the world’s largest regional airline alliance. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in accounting from BYU. He serves on the Marriott School’s National Advisory Council.

Congratulations Chip A. Childs!
