Outstanding Eagle: Matt Paxman

Matt Paxman

Matt Paxman was born in Salt Lake City. There, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, co-planning his Eagle project with his wife-to-be, Alissa, as she finished the Young Womanhood Recognition award in the LDS Church. They are going on 15 years of marriage and are parents of three. Matt is a solution engineer for Adobe. He attended BYU and graduated with a degree in biology. His Scout service has included senior patrol leader, assistant Varsity coach, Cub committee chair, 11 year-old Scout leader, and assistant Scoutmaster. Matt is also the Adobe community involvement relationship manager for the BSA, wherein he encourages his colleagues to make a positive difference in the community and evangelizes the cause of mentoring youth in the principles of leadership, good character, service, and integrity embodied in Scouting.
