Support Scouting for Food, March 15th-22nd

Website_Scouting_for_FoodPlease join the Utah National Parks Council, Boy Scouts of America in the fight against hunger by filling a bag with nutritious non-perishable food donations, then leave it on your porch by 9 am on March 22, 2014. We accept commercially packaged non-perishable food items and appreciate products low in sodium, sugar, and corn syrup. Please no glass items.

Bags will be passed out to homes between the 15th-21st of March. If the local Boy Scouts missed your home, please bring your food to the nearest Harmons Grocery Store, your local pantry or Utah Food Bank, located at 3150 South 900 West in Salt Lake. If you have further questions please contact

  • Soup
  • Beef Stew
  • Chili
  • Peanut Butter
  • Boxed Meals

Scouting For Food Appreciation Open House


Come celebrate your success at the appreciation open house. Scout troops are invited to join Utah Food Bank for its annual Appreciation Open House which will be held on April 2, 2014 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Utah Food Bank, located at 3150 South 900 West. Attendees will witness firsthand how Utah Food Bank distributes the food that the Scouts worked so hard to collect.
