Camp Jeremiah Johnson: Adventure on the High Seas

Another Exciting Year at Camp Jeremiah Johnson!

The theme this summer is “Adventure on the High Seas”.  Focusing on sea explorers and all that went into their thrilling adventures, young Scouts will engage in activities such as navigating by the stars (astronomy belt loop); finding buried treasure (map and compass belt loop), rafting and our favorite event – the Epic Battle.

The Epic Battle consists of making a sword, donning your kingdom’s uniform and marching out to face the enemy where a massive battle will ensue. This activity is guaranteed to get a heart racing as you run and dodge in an attempt to survive.

In addition to these activities, of course we’ll have the youth’s favorite rotations BB Guns and Archery.

Changes Coming to Camp Jeremiah Johnson

Webelos Day Camp will now be held at the Webelos Wilderness Adventure at Buck Hollow (more details coming soon). The only Webelos programming remaining at Jeremiah Johnson will be two Webelos Overnighters. These sessions fill up fast so sign up quickly to ensure getting a spot.

With Webelos moving deeper into the canyon, the afternoon slots are now open to host Cub Scouts. The schedule will remain the same as the morning session. The only thing you’ll miss is the freezing temperatures at opening ceremony :).

Registration is now open for all sessions at
