Camp Jeremiah Johnson: Pioneering the Wild West

Spots are still available for another exciting year at Camp Jeremiah Johnson! The theme this summer is “Pioneering the Wild West”. Focusing on the adventure of the Wild West and the enduring spirit of the pioneers, Cub Scouts and Activity Day Girls will engage in activities like hand carting, rafting, boating, BB guns, archery and crafts.

Changes This Year

The new and exciting Cub Scout Adventures program has been incorporated into Camp Jeremiah Johnson activities this year. Cub Scout will be able to work on requirements for belt loops and pins. See below for the specific requirements available.

Activity tracks will be specific to rank or age group this year. We’re hoping to gear the program to better fill the needs of those attending.

Also, all campers will get to participate in boats. We’ll be utilizing both ponds and doubling our aquatics staff.

We’re also excited about our “A Bear Goes Fishing” program being held on Monday afternoons. This doesn’t mean that you have to be a Bear to come. Anyone can join us. If you’re a Bear you will have the added bonus of passing off adventure requirements. Also, the Shooting Sports Shoot Out – BB Guns and Archery (always camp favorites) will also be held on Monday afternoons as in years past.
