Jamboree 2013: American Falls

Troop C332 included a trip to the American Falls while at jamboree. The American Falls is one of three waterfalls that makes up what is known as Niagara Falls. The larger falls, Horseshoe Falls, is located primarily on the Canadian side.

But that did not stop the Troop from getting wet on a walking tour of the Falls. The Falls are one of the most visited sites in America due to its power and beauty. And what an opportunity for these Scouts to see while at jamboree.

Jamboree is an amazing experience, not just for the brotherhood of Scouts that attend from around the world but also for the opportunity to see amazing sites in the U.S. that for many, may be their only opportunity.

And for parents, their sons are supervised and get a chance to experience life away from home. It’s a win, win situation.

And an experience these Scouts will never forget.

The Troop used one of the GoPro camera’s purchased by the  Council to share their experience.
