First of all, what is it?
The Campmaster Corp is a committee of Scouters and other individuals who plan and carry out activities at our camps. They are also excited to spend time outdoors and making sure Camp Jeremiah Johnson (or any camp they are working with) is well taken care of.
Camp Jeremiah Johnson
Camp Jeremiah Johnson is the camp located closest to the largest population center in the Utah National Parks Council. It is among the oldest camps in the council and has served the youth of Utah County well for over 40 years. The property is mostly mountainous but lies next to a small meadow.
The mission of Camp Jeremiah Johnson is to “Launch Utah Cub Scouts on the path to Eagle Scout by providing a quality and fun real outdoor experiences by providing both leaders and youth physical, mental, and spiritual challenges, in a setting of fun and adventure while participating in an opportunity to practice Scouting in the outdoors.”
Camp JJ is just for Cubs right?
Wrong! The activities go beyond just Cub Scout activities. They will include Klondikes, Camporees, Adventure Days, Merit Badge Weekends, the list goes on. There are endless opportunities for fun in the fresh air.
