Marion D. Hanks Scout Camp

This year, the BSA Benefit Golf Tournament will support Marion D. Hanks Scout Camp at Quail Creek and the building of a COPE cube and climbing wall on the property.

Located at Quail Creek near St. George, UT, Marion D. Hanks features a 4,000 square foot pavilion and training center, amphitheater, concrete pads for dining, a large grass area for camping and games, and access to the Virgin River.

This camp is the perfect location for overnight camp use by Scouting groups as well as other groups such as church groups and family reunions. There are 14 separate campsites, that can each support up to 12 individuals. Each campsite includes a cement pad with a picnic table, water access, and a surrounding grass area for tents.

The newly completed Group/Stake Activity Center is a beautiful building perfect for training courses, weddings, banquets, etc. It can seat up to 150 guests inside and includes a full kitchen, tables, and chairs. It also includes an outdoor amphitheater right outside the activity center, complete with a fire ring and seating for 100+ people. This beautiful amphitheater is a perfect setting for many activities that can complement the inside use of the activity center.

Marion D. Hanks Scout Camp is a unique camp in our council. Its proximity to multiple national parks makes it the perfect base camp for those seeking adventure in southern Utah. Zion National Park is just a short drive from the campground.
