In our LDS Stake, we hold a Cub Scout Olympics every few years so that each Scout has a chance to compete. Image our excitement 17 years ago when our Austin won the stake competition and moved on to compete in the District Cub Scout Olympics. It was an exciting time for all the boys, but like the Olympic Creed states: “The essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well.”
