Join us for the 2017 Influential Women in Scouting Event May 12th

In the year 2010, Cheryl Lant, former Primary general president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, founded the Influential Women in Scouting event in the Utah National Parks Council. This year the event will take place on May 12, 2017 at the Brigham Young University Conference Center, 770 East University Parkway, room 2258. The reception is at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.  Reservations must be made to guarantee a seat.

This award pays tribute to women whose lives have influenced youth and communities throughout Utah.  It is an award for noteworthy service as exemplified in the lives of these great women as they serve in their respective communities. These women have exceptional character that promotes the values and ideals of Scouting. They have significant years of service to Scouting and/or service to youth in the unit, district, council or community. This service is rendered within the community, inside and outside of Scouting.
