Year-Round Maple Dell Activities Aren’t Just for Scouts

The term “Scout camp” may make you assume that Maple Dell is just for boys–but it isn’t. In fact, young men, young women, young single adult, school, church, and family groups, are all invited to come to Maple Dell Scout Camp in Payson Canyon for year-round activities. 

High COPE Course and Zipline

Bring your Scout Troop, Team, Crew, Young Women, YSA, family, school, or church group to climb on Maple Dell’s High COPE Course and Zip Line for $10.00 per person. See the calendar and register here.

  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Starts at 5:00pm during the week. On Saturdays we start at 9:00am and 1:00pm.

Activity Details:

  • $10/person, (includes trained and certified COPE staff and COPE equipment).
  • Minimum of 12 people up to 30 people on evenings, and we can accommodate larger groups on Saturdays.
  • Please have your group come 20 minutes early to your appointment to get your safety briefing and get into harnesses.
  • Each group must provide 1 adult to help people off of the ziplines.
  • DOWNLOAD the High Ropes (COPE Cube)/Zip Line Participant WAIVER FORM at Maple Dell’s webpage or at  and bring to the activity.  Parents will need to sign the waiver form for any participant who is under 18 years of age.
  • Must be 11 years or older to participate.
  • Times and dates are subject to change due to weather and available light.

Illuminated Rifle Range

Come test your sharp shooting skills at our Illuminated Rifle Range for $10.00 per person. Fee includes the rifle, the ammunition, the lane fee, and the NRA/BSA Rifle Instructor/RSO. See the calendar and register here.


  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
  • Saturdays: 9:00am and 1:00pm on Saturdays or 1:00pm-3:00pm. (Minimum of 12 people).

Activity Details:

  • Must be 11 years or older to participate.
  • Times and dates are subject to change due to weather.

  • Two hours worth of gun time.

Don’t let yourself. family, or church peers miss out on the perks offered with this camp, just because you think its for boys only. The year-round facility is open to all.
