“FOR I WAS HUNGRED, AND YE GAVE ME MEAT.”
This is another perfect Scout project. I believe every county in the United States must have a free food pantry, which helps those who are in need. Many people are needy, not only at Christmas, but all year long. When I was younger, I believed I could donate things I acquired, but no one would eat. I have learned that when giving to a food bank, give your favorite non-perishable foods. If you love it, other kids would probably too. I know the USPS collects food while delivering mail. If just donating by yourself, this is an easy and appreciated way. If you want to do it on a grander scale, find a project that requires a can of food to participate. As Scouts there are many things you can do, just think about it. The end result is to feed the hungry.
