“I WAS SICK AND YE VISITED ME.”—Matthew 25:36
This is the perfect service project for Scouts. There are so many sick and wounded people everywhere. There are nursing homes, assisted living homes, VA hospitals and some mental health facilities. If you plan to go visit as a group, place a call first to find the best time and what is expected of you. Always be clean and healthy when visiting. Visiting sick neighbors and loved ones must be done carefully as you don’t want to bring germs in, or bring their germs home with you. A meal left on the doorstep is always appreciated.
