Silver Beaver Award Ceremony Sept. 24, 2016

The Utah National Parks Council, Boy Scouts of America will hold its annual Silver Beaver Recognition on Saturday, September 24, 2016, 2:00–4:00 pm. Stephen OwenThis event will be held in the Alpine Tabernacle, 110 East Main Street, in American Fork, Utah.

The keynote speaker for this event will be Brother Stephen W. Owen, Young Men general president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Silver Beaver Award is the council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America. Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council.The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self-sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service.

The Silver Beaver Award was introduced in 1931

Please come and give support to members of your stakes and wards who have given countless hours and dedication to the youth in our communities.

Anyone may nominate any deserving registered Scouter to earn the Silver Beaver Award. To nominate a Scouter you know, click here. Nominations are due June 1, 2017 by 5:00 pm. All nominations need to go through your District Key 3.
